I'm not really sure if this is the correct forum or not, sorry in advance if it isn't.
Anywho, back on topic! This is my current daemons setup:
DAEMONS=(hwclock syslog-ng dbus network netfs crond gdm)
1. What is hwclock? I'm not even sure what it is, what it does and if it's "needed."
2. Is there a "better" order for them? Does order even matter?
3. Can I @ any of these to boot up faster?

Thanks. I completely looked over the hwclock wiki page, sorry about that. Still not sure about the @ command but I suppose I can figure that out for myself.

The @ forces the daemon to start backgrounded. This means the boot process has not to wait for this daemon's start being finished before starting the next daemon in sequence. This will speed up the boot for daemons which do not depend on each other.
To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.
