Today my wireless/internet connection dropped from 10 Mbps to under 1 Mbps, it isn't related to my actual ADSL connection because through ethernet the speed limit of 10 is reached but not with wireless.
I did an update but it didn't include anything related to the wireless card's driver. It associates normally with my router but the speed and ping are very suboptimal.
dmesg output:
wlan0: RX AssocResp from (capab=0x411 status=0 aid=2)
wlan0: associated
ieee80211 phy0: wlan0: No probe response from AP after 500ms, disconnecting.
cfg80211: Calling CRDA to update world regulatory domain
wlan0: authenticate with (try 1)
wlan0: authenticated
wlan0: associate with (try 1)
wlan0: RX AssocResp from (capab=0x411 status=0 aid=1)

I am using the iwl3945 module, specifically iwl_legacy. I tried configuring it with ndiswrapper but it gave me a kernel panic.
Hopefully there is a solution to this speed problem for the open source iwl3945 since I can't run ndiswrapper, apparently.

Never mind, it wasn't a software or hardware problem. I noticed that there were a lot of interferences on channel 1 so I tried a few and switched to the one with the lowest ping and highest speed. It solved my problem.
