Can't connect two ArchMachines on the same wireless network via SSH

I have openssh installed on both machines, and I have the sshd daemon running on the host machine. However when I try to ssh into it from my laptop, I get "no route to host" error. The machine doesn't respond to ping either. Help?

Solved, see post below

Re: Can't connect two ArchMachines on the same wireless network via SSH

1) check your router and make sure port 22 (or what ever you use) is forwarded to the server box.
2) iptables/firewall blocking on server box?

PLEASE read and try to FIX/FILE BUGS instead of assuming other have/will.

Thanks a lot jwbirdsong - it was 1). I did set up port forwarding, but made a typo when typing the server's IP address. Solved.
