[SOLVED]Anyone running Arch on s205 Ideapad?

Hi all,

I'm planning to install Archlinux on my s205 Ideapad. Normal Archlinux iso won't boot because of uefi/efi, but Archboot should.

Any expriences installing and running Arch on this machine? Problems?

Cheers!

Re: [SOLVED]Anyone running Arch on s205 Ideapad?

I can't even install Arch on this computer. Normal Arch install does not work because of EFi/UEFI and there is no way to use BIOS mode in this laptop.

Archboot actually starts and so on but when I want to partition the hard drive, installer can't find any drives (in fact it seems that under /dev/ there isn't any sdX drives..).

Any ideas? Ubuntu 11.10 installed ok.

I actually solved this. There was something funny with the usb image I used to start the installation.

On this laptop Arch works perfectly. Everything works.
