Hello. After 10 seconds of idling the screen backlight is dimmed on my macbook pro. When I move the cursor it goes back to normal.
I've understood I should be able to change this under system settings->power but I only have options for when to suspend and what to do when power is low.
I'm running arch w/ gnome 3.2 on a mpb 6,2.
Any suggestions on what I can try?
Thanks

Open dconf-editor and navigate to /org/gnome/settings-daemon/plugins/power/ where you can find more power related options.

Thanks, changing "idle-dim-time" from 10 to 120 did the trick. I wonder why it's as low as 10 by default, really annoying...
