[Solved] Replacing nvidia with nvidia-beta

I just switched back to Arch after using Chakra for about a month and after upgrading I was hit with the nvidia and xserver problem. The ignoreabi option works, it's just that everything is slow as hell. I attempted to try and replace the nvidia driver with nvidia-beta but it keeps on failing because a lot of things I have installed depend on nvidia. I've tried to install the package using sudo pacman -U --nodeps but it still checks for dependencies and fails.

Is there any other way to install the beta driver without having to uninstall everything that depends on nvidia, nvidia-utils and libgl?

[karol@black ~]$ pacman -Uh
...
-d, --nodeps skip dependency version checks (-dd to skip all checks)
...

What exactly do you mean by "doesnt' work"?
Remove one package with 'pacman -Rdd' and install the other. You need nvidia-utils-beta too.

I got it to install the packages, but all three that I tried still lagged like crazy. I ended up just installing nouveau and everything is back to normal. Thanks for the help.
