Just did a 'pacman -Syu' and Shotwell was upgraded to shotwell-0.11.2-2 from shotwell-0.11.2-1.
However this latest upgrade has screwed the listing (left-hand column) of many of my customized events: some show okay, but most have been changed to the date range of the photos, and some truncated to single characters or groups of unprintable characters.
Any ideas, or anyone else experienced this corruption?
PS: I'm just running a basic Openbox system, and downgrading to the previous version works okay.![]()

Same for me here, I downgraded too. As far as I can see what has changed from pkgrel 1 to 2 is the inclusion of a rather big patch. Is this some kind of development branch for improved gtk-3 compability?
(commit that changed the PKGBUILD)
Maybe we should wait and see if the problem still exists with 0.11.3 (released today, not yet in repos).

Whew ... thank goodness it's not just me!
That patch is indeed huge and the GTK2->GTK3 stuff sounds a likely culprit, but I intend to try and check the Sqlite database too if something has changed there.
Am away at present, so I agree it might be best to see how the latest upgrade goes before pushing the panic button ...

I downgraded to 0.11.2-1 but don't have plugins to export to facebook and flickr anymore. Anyone else having this problem?

Just upgraded via -Syu to: shotwell-0.11.4-1git20111016-i686.pkg.tar.xz
Same problem with event corruption persists ... so back to 0.11.2 again.
@cpcgm: I see what you mean (although I don't use them myself): these plugins have indeed disappeared!
