as far as I know, the libg2c.so library was part of g77... that was replaced with fortran in the 4.x series of the gcc compiler. Your application still needing this library indicates that it's either fairly old or simply no longer in development. Isn't there a newer version of the application?
g77 is still available here, in binary form:
http://hpc.sourceforge.net/
Perhaps you can extract the library.

i solved it by copy a libg2c.so.0 from another linux server, and relogin. but why must relogin? begore relogin, i get the "libg2c.so.0 not found " from ldd command output.can anyone explain ?
