Hi guys,
I installed blender with pacman (works!). I installed yafaray with yaourt (-S yafaray) (it did the job).
Now, when I start Blender, it should show a new addon, no? It doesn't :-( No addon, no render menu item thingy...
What am I doing wrong? Anyone else using yaf on Arch? System is up to date...

Okay, what I did:
download source yafaray and integrator, cmake and compile
download blender-svn from aur with yaourt.
copy the .so files from yafaray to ~/.blender/2.59/scripts/addons/yafaray/bin
copy the python files from yafaray to ~/.blender/2.59/scripts/addons/yafaray
I hope that will do the job...

Grrr... First problem was yafaray to be to new for the extra/blender package. Now blender's to new for the yafaray package...

SOLVED
What I did:
yaourt -S blender-svn
then download git://github.com/YafaRay/Blender-2.5-Exporter.git
and download yafaray svn found on yaf website
compile yafaray
copy exporter files to ~/.blender/2.60/scripts/addons/yafaray
copy those 6 files:
_yafqt.so
_yafrayinterface.so
libyafaraycore.so
libyafarayplugin.so
yafqt.py
yafrayinterface.py
to
~/.blender/2.60/scripts/addons/yafaray/bin
mkdir ~/.blender/2.60/scripts/addons/yafaray/bin/plugins
copy ALL OTHER .so files in the yafaray compiled stuff in the plugins folder.
Enable yafaray addon and start rendering!
