KDE icons won't change and KDM fails to start after switch to xorg-ati
Hi everyone,
I'm getting this weird problem where I can't make changes to KDE's main menu. Nor can I change the icons of shortcuts in my Desktop folder.
I checked the permissions in .cache/menus folder and they seem to fine (I own them).
I haven't seen an odd problem like this before, and will appreciate if someone knows the solution.
EDIT: I just switched form Catalyst to xorg-ati drivers and now my KDM refuses to start. My xorg-server version is 1.11.1-1 and my ati-dri is 7.11-2. I know that this may be completely unrelated to the previous problem, but it seems that I'm forgetting something very simple, but I don't know what it is.

Nevermind the second part, KDM starting working fine now. I had forgotten to remove my xorg.conf files.
But the first problem still persists.
