Installation Seg3D from source

Hey,
What is the best way to install Seg3D and how!? ( http://www.sci.utah.edu/download/seg3d/ )
The soure-code is value for Linux, but I've no idea how to install it (or  how to make a pacman-package - that would be perfekt for me).
In that point I'm a real newbie, a detailed description would be awesome
