pm-utils - powersave stopped working [solved]

Hello,

I cannot really determine what has caused pm-utils-powersave to stop working but my defined script in /etc/pm.d/powersave is not considered at start up. Though it is still working after suspend and hibernate.

However, I am pretty sure that it worked at start up before too.

Does anyone have a command on that?

The script I use: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/post/110148/#p110148

Installed: pm-utils 1.4.1-3 + kernel 3.0.1-1

Regards

Re: pm-utils - powersave stopped working [solved]

A workaround is to run pm-powersave at start up, for example by passing it to rc.local.

Regards

EDIT:

pm-powersave is only running after suspend and hibernate and not anymore automatically during the session or at start up.

This problem is eventually solved due to the use of upower.

Simply start upower as normal user at startup of your DE or WM with 'upower -e'
