Need some help with the Catalyst driver installation

I am having a hard time installing the Catalyst drivers during a fresh Gnome 3 system install.  I am using the Catalyst repository that is mentioned in the wiki.  I keep on getting errors relating to conflicts and dependencies.  Unfortunately I cannot use the open-source drivers, as I have an AMD 6520g video card.  Does anyone know of a good tutorial?

I reinstalled Windows already..  From what I remember they were xorg errors.  Something about evdev conflicting with the minimize fix.  Of course I tried to do what the error told me, but that usually gave me another error.
