[SOLVED] lxpanel logout

I've got gnome-shell as my DE, but I'm using lxpanel as I really like this panel. However the logout button is complaining about command not being set.

I've tried to google this, but most recommend changing the logout command to use lxsession-logout or openbox-logout... but this is gnome-shell so these commands are not available to me at all.

My user is part of the following groups
users,audio,lp,optical,storage,video,wheel,games,power,scanner

And also the wheel group are allowed to sudo without password.

How can I get this logout button working?

Thanks

Re: [SOLVED] lxpanel logout

Think you need lxsession.

pacman -Qi lxsession
Namn            : lxsession
Version         : 0.4.6.1-1
URL             : http://lxde.org/
Licenser        : GPL2
Grupper         : lxde

Re: [SOLVED] lxpanel logout

no...Why would you want to run lxsession within gnome?  You could try using

/usr/bin/gnome-session-save --kill
though I dont know if that will work in gnome-shell. Maybe if you started gnome panel from command line, you could see what command it executes when you click the logout button? And then bind that to the logout button in lxpanel.

Re: [SOLVED] lxpanel logout

I found it
gnome-session-quit

This works, it prompts the confirmation.
