[SOLVED]ALSA Mixer using too much CPU

I'm using xfce and I've configured my keyboard as follows :

<property name="XF86AudioLowerVolume" type="string" value="amixer set Master 5%-"/>
      <property name="XF86AudioRaiseVolume" type="string" value="amixer set Master 5%+"/>
      <property name="XF86AudioMute" type="string" value="amixer set Master toggle"/>

I happened to open the task manager and I see the CPU at 100% with just a few tabs of chrome and youtube.

When I sorted it according to cpu usage, I see that 'alsamixer set Master 5%-' is using 6% each and there are around 20 of them.

Any help?
