[SOLVED] Freshly installed Arch on Aspire 722 hangs at random

Hi all.
I installed Arch on my mum's brand new netbook, an Aspire 722, since W7 was extremely slow.
KDE runs pretty fine, but I don't get any sound.
Yesterday evening I played with the sound a bit with no success, rebooted several times and done minor stuff which should NOT affect the following problem at all. Kde still run well.

Today the machine starts but hangs at random, ie sometimes when starting KDM, or before displaying the ksplash, or even opening a file via a console or when installing a package.

I never managed to get past ksplash since that makes it crash immediately. But it is not KDE related since it crashes even doing other stuff.

How does it crash? It simply hangs and does nothing, no key or mouse works.

I read all logs and fixed a couple of bugs here and there but the problem is still here and I can't find what causes it.

Please help or my mother will be forced to use the Slow and Bad One again!

It does not hang anymore. And I did nothing but move daemons around.
I'll mark as solved.
