[SOLVED] Blender and Cycles and OpenCL Error

Blender has had the Cycles render engine integrated with trunk now.  I have an nVidia 9800 GTX video card, and use the latest released nVidia drivers. When rendering with CPU it works fine. But when I select OpenCL GPU it fails and prints the following on the console:

OpenCL: C version 1.1 or later required, found 1.0

According to all the specs, my video card can support OpenCL 1.1. Does anyone know the reason for this error? Does Cycles work with anyone else? Further, I can't seem to get Blender to compile with CUDA -- the cmake output indicates it's ignoring those options.

Re: [SOLVED] Blender and Cycles and OpenCL Error

OK, solved my problem. More details are n this thread I started at blenderartists.org:

http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthr … and-Cycles

But basically, somewhere OpenCL is reading a string that is showing only version 1.0. The actualy poblem I was trying to solve was NOT being able to render using the GPU/CUDA. I solved that, and the information is in the linked thread above.
