[SOLVED] Updating Linux 3.1 broke my boot

I'm using stable Arch, so yesterday I found there was updates for the Kernel and Firefox, so i installed and shuted down.
Today I am trying to boot the system but I can't, I get a message that says more or less:

Could not read /lib/modules/3.0-arch/modules.dep

So no module is loaded, I can't use Internet or even the X.

I found that modules.dep was moved to /media/root/lib/modules/3.1.0-4-ARCH

Sounds like you have a separate /boot partition which wasn't mounted when you did the upgrade.

Boot your favourite live cd/usb, chroot in, fix stuff.

Or see if you can get into maintenance mode from boot
either way once in:

rollback your kernel package with

# pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-3.0.7-*

reboot and you should be able to get back in your system
