[SOLVED]Chromium stuck in fullscreen since upgrade

Last night's upgrade 15.0.874.120-1 made my Chromium start in fullscreen and it's stuck. I can press the F11 key or the little button on top but it doesn't turn off fullscreen. Please help!

Edit: I read this topic but I was hoping for a solution that doesn't involve loosing my settings.

I had the same issue with Google Chrome (not Chromium!) a few months ago, and I also fixed it by deleting my config. I am also interested in finding other ways to solve the problem.

Re: [SOLVED]Chromium stuck in fullscreen since upgrade

Ok, I fixed it.

The solution:

  1. Opening a webpage that popped up another window. this windows will be framed and decorated, Chromium has another decoration for pop-up windows.

  2. Close every other instance of full screen Chromium with the Chromium task manager (available right clicking the pop-up window frame)

  3. Then from the pop-up window I pressed Ctrl+N, boom, the new window was framed. No settings lost.

I'm marking this as solved.
