[SOLVED] can't access tty on boot

Hello,
Have you any idea for this?
If I boot in Vmware cant open root partition.
Why?

Maybe do you think I need VMware patches for mine virtual machine? But how can I do? I cant boot it.

Have you any idea? I think maybe my mkinitcpio.conf not good? Or what? How do you think?

I think I solved myself from fault boot kernel with:

# mkinitcpio -p linux

and i update menu.lst
