Warsow not starting

system info:

CPU: AMD AthalonXP (1.2Ghz)
RAM: 1.5GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 7600GS (Nvidia drivers from pacman installed)
OS: ArchBang

so to give you a little background I'm very new to Linux. I had gotten fed up with WinXP's slowness on my old computer and decided to dive into Linux. I tried Ubuntu which was nice but slow, and i wasn't really learning Linux like I wanted to. I heard Arch was great system and a good way to learn so i got it all setup with an Xfce4 DE and loved it. then i switched to ArchBang because it had everything I wanted.

tl;dr

the problem i'm having is that Warsow will not start, nothing happens. if i bring down a guake terminal and run it there i get this:

I had received this message with both my regular Arch install with Xfce4 and my ArchBang install with openbox. Any help is greatly appreciated, and please be nice, i'm still learning.

It is related to you running a dual-screen setup. I ran in to the same problem and found this thread. I'll check if I can find a solution some time this weekend and if I find one I'll post a solution.

It was easier then expected. A quick solution is just to change the vid_fullscreen variable in basewsw/config.cfg to 0, then start the game, set the prefered resolution and then enable fullscreen.
