Neither Intel nor AMD graphics working on HP g6

I have a HP Pavilion g6 just built a few months ago. Has integrated Sandy graphics and Radeon HD 6470M

I can get neither to work have tried a blank xorg config and tried adding radeon and intel to the devices in the xorg.conf.d folder. I keep getting the error

(EE) No devices found

only vesa works

- A thanks to all who help in advance

Re: Neither Intel nor AMD graphics working on HP g6

Which drivers have you installed for either the intel or the radeon card?

Not sure if you have tried this yet but https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Hybrid_graphics

This walks you through how to manually fix the problem, however there is an AUR available: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=51704
