i'm using OpenBox and tint2
i want tranmission auto start when i boot into arch so i add 'tranmission-gtk --minimized' into autostart file but when i restart my machine transmission doesn't start to tray
is this bug? or i do something wrong? how can i solve this problem:(

Well there is another way around.
You can use "transmission-cli" and start it as daemon, after that you can use your favorite browser to http://localhost:9091/ and use it that way. This way you also save some dependensies.
As for autostart, did you try "(sleep 5 && tranmission-gtk --minimized) &"

If you start tranmission-daemon like this:
transmission-daemon -g /home/<your_username>/.config/transmission
it will inherit your current settings, including any current downloads.
EDIT: It seems the bug you're encountering has been fixed for version 2.5 ([extra] version is 2.42).

It is not recommended to run transmission in daemon mode with a normal user. I suggest you manually start the gtk version and in the options set to minimize tray.
