System goes to blank screen after grub, happened after update

The system is going to blank screen as soon as grub boot it
The issue is because of an update for the system, I found the problem which is in the video driver, I am using xf86-video-intel
When I disable it in grub (i915.modeset=0) system works fine, but when I enable it, it loads into blank screen again...
I googled and looked into many threads and topics, but I found no help until now
So I really appreciate your help...

Which logs do I need to check to find out what is going on? I checked the boot log, but it was not clear and it did not show any error... anyway I will clear it and check it again...

See if this makes any difference.  If this works, try the solution in comment #100.

That did the work, never expected this to be a bug... I added that into the menu.lst file (easier to me to track the non-default changes in the system)
