repo snapshot

Hi all,

I was wondering if it would be possible to get a repository image from around late 2007 with all packages from this year.

Best regards,
AG

Re: repo snapshot

I don't think any 'archive server' goes that far back.
Why do you need them?

Re: repo snapshot

Hi, I found http://schlunix.org which has Gnome 2.28. Well I don't like Gnome3/Unity/E17/KDE/<insert name here> desktops and was thinking to use Gnome 2.26/ 28/ 30 in arch.

Re: repo snapshot

Yes, schlunix and A.R.M. http://arm.konnichi.com have old packages, but not 2007 old (unless a package hasn't been updated since 2007 ;P)

Re: repo snapshot

I guess you're aware you won't be able to update that installation?

Maybe you should have a look at Mate

Re: repo snapshot

Thanks tomk, I have a system with an installation from 2007 maybe using that repo would update to those packages instead of using some arch mirror?
