[Solved] Gnome 3 > Online Accounts > Won't connect to Google

Hello,

Whenever I try to create an account to Google using the Online Acounts in Gnome-shell, I got the message :

     Error creating account
Error getting a Request Token: SSL handshake failed

I browsed the forums and found out some Online Account issues (not entirely the same though) referring to a wrong settings of clock and date. I tried with moving back my clock to 2 hours earlier : didn't do anything.
Anyone got an idea ?

Thanks,
Maxime

Re: [Solved] Gnome 3 > Online Accounts > Won't connect to Google

i solved it.
run : su or sudo update-ca-certificates

that should do it. It could not access the certificates, as they are not present.

gnome-control-center

(gnome-control-center:16028): libsoup-WARNING **: Could not set SSL credentials from '/etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt': Datei »/etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt« konnte nicht geöffnet werden: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

i hope it helps!
