Have you checked your GTK theme's gtkrc? Look for the line specifying gtk-icon-sizes, and try to fix it. If you can't, try posting it here.

Re: GTKLookAndFeel , Error parsing gtk-icon-sizes string: '' error

Hm, the line looks fine to me. However, the error in the first post has two single quotes together.
What's in your .gtkrc-2.0?

Re: GTKLookAndFeel , Error parsing gtk-icon-sizes string: '' error

Strange error. I tried to reproduce it by using that gtkrc for a theme, and setting that Java option, but the error didn't appear. I looked at the source file for the GTK look and feel, and understand what is printed out in the error now, too. However, I still don't get why it happens. I thought maybe I would try using openjdk6 instead of jdk7-openjdk, but I have programs that depend on version 7, so I didn't go through with it. Are you using openjdk6? It might have nothing to do with it, but I don't have any other ideas.

The tittle is self-explanatory but, my problem is, i wanna a uniform look of my java programs with my gtk theme, i tried to put GTKLookAndFeel like it says in the Arch Wiki, but i get the following error at console:

Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=on -Dswing.defaultlaf=com.sun.java.swing.plaf.gtk.GTKLookAndFeel
Error parsing gtk-icon-sizes string: ''

OBS: The Java Application load the GTK , i only wanna get rid of this message...

I just tried this, in both ~/.bashrc and /etc/profile.d/jre.sh, but nothing happened. Am I missing some dependency?

$ pacman -Qqs java
ca-certificates-java
icedtea-web-java7
jdk7-openjdk
jre7-openjdk
