Internal Mic Wont Work

Hi All

I have an Acer TimlineX 4820T and i cant get the Internal Mic to work or a Mic plugged in to the Mic Jack.

Any suggestions please ?

If using alsa, check alsamixer/gnome-alsamixer. Al that can be set for your soundcard is set from there.

Yes i am using Alsa and all the settings are correct in alsamixer as far as i can tell
