I can't seem to find pyqt4 dbus support anywhere! I need it for my HP (hplip) software, is there anyway i can get it?
Thanks in advance

What exactly is the problem? What does not work?
Is http://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/i686/pyqt/ what you're looking for?
If you need, install some optional dependencies:
* cups: for printing support
* dbus-python: for dbus support
* sane: for scanner support
* spython-imaging: for commandline scanning support
* python-notify: for Desktop notification support
* rpcbind: for network support
* python2-qt: for running hp-toolbox
* python2-gobject2: for running hp-toolbox
* hplip-plugin: binary blobs for specific devices

Upon running hp-setup for example: warning: Qt/PyQt 4 initialization failed.
Running hp-check shows me that:
Checking for dependency: PyQt 4 DBus - DBus Support for PyQt4...
error: NOT FOUND! This is a REQUIRED/RUNTIME ONLY dependency. Please make sure that this dependency is installed before installing or running HPLIP.

Have you tried installing python2-qt?
Optional Deps :

python2-qt: for running hp-toolbox

Marvellous! that was the issue! Somehow I had missed the 2 and only python-qt was installed for which some odd reason doesn't make hplip work! Thank you karol!
