arch boot problem on latest macbook air

i've installed arch on macbook air but after boot i get scrammbled console screen or if i use "noefi"  i get normal screen but keyboard doesn't work. i've tried nomodeset and similar combinations but nothing works.
i've tried various methods i've found on this forum and other sources online but nothing helped.

topics related to macbook air installation are mostly focused on patching kernel for i915 bugs and other intel video stuff but i can't boot to console with readable screen and a working keyboard.
any ideas how to fix this?

The i915 problem relates to the internal lcd panel, if you can hook up your Air to an external monitor you should be able to use that.
