[solved] /etc/rc.d/functions: line 524: kill: (354) - No such process

Since initscripts 2011.10.2-1 I get the following message in my VT1 on bootup:

/etc/rc.d/functions: line 524: kill: (354) - No such process

(the process number changes each boot, of course)

The script there tries to kill bootlogd while the latter isn't running anymore but the pid-file still exists.
Before filing a bug report I'd like to have a second opinion on this, to make sure it's not caused by any misconfiguration smile

Regards

lynix

I can't reproduce this.
Do you still get it after updating to initscripts 2011.12.1-1?
