Strange behaviour of two audio applications

Hi!

I'm using kde, alsa, phonon-vlc and i seeing some strange thing..

When i  am open skype, i'm seeing in "sound devices" (options), in speakers and ringing -  [HDA intel ALC888 Analog (hw:0,0)].
Now i open amarok, playing some song (not closing amarok), and looking now in optiions (in skype), i'm seeing that
in speakers and ringing something changes... Now there is [HDA intel ALC888 Digital IEC958 (S/PDIF) ..... ] instead  [HDA intel ALC888 Analog (hw:0,0)], and i can't
call in skype..
Now i'm closing amarok, and every thing  fine again, and i seeing once again  [HDA intel ALC888 Analog (hw:0,0)] in options in skype..

What's a problem?

Re: Strange behaviour of two audio applications

Works fine here with pulseaudio, so you might try installing pulse, don't forget to also install lib32-libpulse (see wiki) if you are running 64 bit arch.
