About GNU R package

It's a good idea to add  --enable-R-shlib option to r's configure script so that many other applications can find file "libR.so", for example, rkward, RSPython, etc. Otherwise, these application can not be compiled successfully.

you should really post this in the bug tracker (button in upper right corner) and possibly email the maintainer of the package
