Thank you sir. Here are .Xdefaults colors (and gtk2 theme to match).

As for monsterwm colors:

#define FOCUS "#6f6f6f" /* focused window border color */
#define UNFOCUS "#5f5f5f" /* unfocused window border color */

Re: January 2012 Screenshots

I've been working on my conky statusbar for monsterwm. I ended up ditching the one with bars and graphs. The cpubar works ok but the netspeed ones aren't very effective. It's an easy way to get conky to stop moving but that's about it. I made a text and icon version. I also put together a battery line that does the same thing as my status script (I got that part of my status script from jasonwryan). It changes from "AC" when plugged to "BAT" in the text one and the icons change in the other one. It also turns red when it gets below 20%. I borrowed part of it from jasonwryan's (again) .conkrc and help from this thread  https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=123638 . It seems to work. Conky is lighter on resources and more responsive than the status script. I thought it would be a little lighter just using conky by itself instead of through dzen but it seems pretty close.

I like the icon one. I'll be using that as my main setup, at least until I figure out how to stop conky from moving altogether in dzen and then I can use the nicer looking icons that I made. (not that these don't look good). I'm close but so far no dice. It's so much nicer and less distracting now.

I put the battery one out front on the icon version because i need it there. I have a bad habit of letting it run out (did it again today). The text one stands out pretty good so I left it alone.

tY2RzcQ
tY2Rzcg

and I use the same .conkyrc for dminiwm too.

Yes I agree this looks amazing. My random guess would be dwm, but it could be anything!

Thanks.

set recolor_darkcolor #657b83
set recolor_lightcolor #fdf6e3

Re: January 2012 Screenshots

Hi again!

Here is my xmonad setup but this time with improved clickable dzen2 status bars.

Dzen2's flexibility continuously amazes me, you can click the current time to pop-up a dzen-calendar, control the sound volume with the wheel mouse, launch dropbox daemon, start mpd, change layout, switch to a new workspace, change focus, etc... All is 100% clickable.

Here are the config files: configs.tar.xz

Enjoy!
