I've been in Openbox for a while, but I craved some good ol' tiling. So here's my i3 setup.
Details:
Window Manager: i3
Font: DejaVu Sans Mono (10pt)
Running: jumanji, urxvt, htop, vim, irssi, ranger, mochttp://th09.deviantart.net/fs70/150/f/2012/006/2/6/arch_linux___i3_by_graveyardpc-d4lk939.png

This should be all of them:

The VIM theme is going to be buggy as it needs a complete rewrite. The rest should like fine, but only with my specific Xdefaults theme.

Question: do you know how to use conky in kde? I always have a black windows, i'd like to have it transparent...
I have conky working really nice with kde. You can see my setup few posts above.
The general options that you need for it to play nicely are:
own_window yes
own_window_transparent yes
own_window_argb_visual yes
own_window_type normal
own_window_class conky-semi
own_window_hints undecorated,below,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager
