Thanks.
I made a general window decoration rule to hide titlebars by adding:
[Windeco Exception 0]
Enabled=true
HideTitleBar=true
Mask=0
Pattern=.*
Type=Window Class Name
to ~/.kde4/share/config/oxygenrc. It can also be done from window decoration page on system settings but that doesn't seem to work in KDE SC 4.8 RC2.
The title can be added to the panel with Yet another Window Control plasmoid.

Systemtray icons are part of plasma theme and they are stored in ~/.kde4/share/apps/desktoptheme/[THEME]/icons. I use Helium theme and the icons are part of it. The menu icon is then again part of the systemwide icon theme but it can be changed from launcher settings; mine is from MN-Elementary icon pack.

As you can see since the icontask was released I'm using it and it let me have the toolbar to the left side without any worry.
Thanks kde for the moduability^^ and this version 4.8 is pretty smooth and cool.
Looks very good! How did you managed to have a border less firefox window?

Right. So those are my first screenshots posted in a forum, ever. Simple KDE4.7, kAwoken colours and icons, Ubuntu font.

Thanks! Are you using plasma-widget-menubar ? I tried it once but it didnt work. It doesnt work right now also (i can't compile appmenu-gtk) and appmenu-qt doesnt work for clementine.

Same problem, i partially resolved it removing from pkgbuild the gtk dependencies...now it works, but only for qt/kde applications, gtk ones don't work...

Are you using plasma-widget-menubar ?
Yes. I have these packages installed and everything works just fine:
appmenu-gtk2
appmenu-gtk3
appmenu-qt
gtk2-ubuntu
gtk3-ubuntu
libdbusmenu
libdbusmenu-qt
libdbusmenu-gtk2
libdbusmenu-gtk3
plasma-widget-menubar
appmenu-qt doesnt work for clementine.
It has been temporarily disabled because of a serious bug.

An early update. Still working some of the kinks out of my WMFS and Conky configs, but I like this WM a lot so far.
