Discrepency Between amixer and alsamixer Volume Levels

I've noticed that my Master channel displays different values for the volume in amixer and alsamixer.

Here are the data (alsamixer, amixer):

These values are independent from all the other channels.
Does anyone have an explanation for this?

I'm guessing the problem is in alsamixer. Every other tool (mplayer, xmms, lxpanel's volume plugin) shows the same as amixer, only alsamixer is off.

Result, both are correct, the scale is just different.
