Rhythmbox - Minimize to tray

Hi,

I'm using Rhythmbox as my music manager, but I can't make it minimize to tray. I've searched some forums, which recommend us to activate a plugin which enables it. But version 2.90.1 doesn't seem to have that option. Is there any other way I can make it work?

Thanks

Re: Rhythmbox - Minimize to tray

This feature has been removed I think:
https://mail.gnome.org/archives/rhythmb … 00009.html

However a quick google search turned this up: https://github.com/palfrey/rhythmbox-tray-icon
Maybe you could try that out, don't use rhythmbox so I can't test it.

A generic program to make this work would be alltray.

Great things come in tar.xz packages.

Re: Rhythmbox - Minimize to tray

I submitted a package to AUR. Is it allright?
It works to me, I'm running XFCE.
