Can't see grub menu on reboot (visible on cold start)

Minor issue, grub menu isn't visible only on reboot. Only the OEM logo is displayed and kernel starts booting. Pressing the down arrow and hitting enter boots into alternate OS though. But menu gets displayed perfectly when cold booting.

HP Envy 14, running arch 64. grub 0,9x. Everything up to date. This thing started happening ever since kernel 3.0 update.
