Window borders escape the screen with Compiz and KDE

First, I want to say that I need to use Compiz on KDE because it is much faster than KWin (in my case, KWin is a huge resource hog taking up to 50% of CPU power). I'm using proprietary Catalyst drivers and have the HD6310M (the AMD E-350 APU).

Here's what happens: I am not missing the window borders (as are 99% of people with Compiz at first). They are simply gone when I maximize the window - as if the titlebar hides under the screen bezel. When I try to move the window, I can see that they're still there (see screenhot #2), and when I restore the window, they're there.

This started happening only today - up until this point, it was working just fine. I tried to use "indirect rendering" and "loose binding" in fusion-icon, to no avail.

Here is what it looks like when I maximize a window: http://i.imgur.com/N8j7Z.png
Here is the same window when I try to move it: http://i.imgur.com/DUrSt.png

Any ideas?

Kind of bump, and a notice: this only happens with the Oxygen theme.

Had the same problem,
But thanks for the tip about Oxygen theme. When I disabled Window Drop-down Shadow and Active Window Glow in Oxygen decoration options, the problem went away. Still would be nice to have the shadows.
