ASUS k52j can't adjust brightness, custom kernel

Hi,

Recently I've decided to compile my own kernel for my arch. Doing it the old way, using make and make modules_install, copying the file, etc. After a system restart I've noticed one major drawback. I can't use my keyboard's function keys to adjust screen brightness. Only the adjustment through /sys/class works fine, also the keystrokes are registered by acpi_listen. I tried to compare modules loaded by the stock kernel with mine but I think it has pretty much the same. I have completely no idea what can be wrong, or what I forgot to compile into my kernel.

Here's my config:

Any help or hint would be really appriciated as I have completely no clue what I can do next to make things work.

Thanks in advance,
xartii
