[SOLVED] Sound not working...
Hi All,
Finally got Arch installed with KDE 4. Very impressed.
However, sound is not working on my laptop at the moment. Is there anything obvious I can check?

Check the sound settings, whether all the needed channels are unmuted, are the modules loaded etc.
Any related errors in the logs?

Can you run alsaconf please and follow through with the configuration.

try running alsamixer in console and unmute everything. if the sound is not wokring in KDE only, then look into systemsettings => multimedia => phonon tab
