Kernel upgrade → "unable to reset IRR for apic"

Hi,

I just upgraded to 3.2.1, and at boot I now have 256 error messages:

Unable to reset IRR for apic:2, pin:{n} (with {n} from 0 to 255)

It still boots, but takes a bit more time.

I wasn't able to find anything about it (except a patch I don't understand). Am I the only one?
Is it important?

Happens here as well, and I got the same messages during shutdown.
More info and ongoing troubleshooting to be found in this thread...
