configuring MFC scanner

Hello,

I want to install the scanner drivers of my MFC-5440CN (NETWORK connection).
brscan-key says the scanner works, but "xsane" doesn't sees it.

Procedure followed:
I've 64 bits arch.
I've seen in bother's page it uses "brscan2".

So I installed packages: sane and xsane from repos.
Added my user to scanner group
Installed from AUR: brscan2-network, brscan-skey
Then: brsaneconfig2 -a name=SCANNER_DCP770CW model=DCP-770CW ip=192.168.0.110

Then I checked everything was ok:
# brscan-skey -l
BROTHER           : brother2:net1;dev0  : 192.168.1.50         Active

When I run xsane, "no devices available"

Or
scanimage -l
scanimage: no SANE devices found

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance

Re: configuring MFC scanner

Many Brother printer/scanners do not work with xsane. http://www.sane-project.org/lists/sane- … ernal.html
