Totem

Cannot load totem get the following error

(totem:2042): Gdk-WARNING **: The program 'totem' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.
  (Details: serial 140 error_code 1 request_code 139 minor_code 66)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

The system is upto date and even tried reinstalling totem

Re: Totem

I had a problem that gave the same error msg. And the solution for me was to re-build my graphics driver. So if you haven't tryed it allready I'l sugest you check you'r graphics setup (drivers, configs, etc.)

Oh: and check that the driver version equals your kernel version
