Fan speed control on 1001px

I read all topics that talked about configuration of fan speed control (fancontrol) and sensors.
I had this thing working on this computer on previous installation of arch linux and I didn't have any problems with setup.
I was able to show fan RPM and setup the dameon to control speed based on temperature.
Unfortunately, after reinstall yersterday I cannot find any way to display or control fan speed.
pwmconfig reports: "There are no pwm-capable sensor modules installed"
and I cannot see the information about the FAN spm anywhere.
output of sensors is:

acpitz-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1: +64.0°C (crit = +98.0°C)

and after I start the /etc/rc.d/sensors it changes to:

acpitz-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1: +64.0°C (crit = +98.0°C)

coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Core 0: +54.0°C (crit = +100.0°C)

(I had to run sensors-detect before starting sensors to get the last information.)

What is it that changed since last time that the fan control is not working on this laptom any more
and what do I have to do to get it back (except downgrade, obviously)?

thanks for any advice
