Linux at Work - NTLM - Active Directory - Firefox SSO

At work we are allowed to bring our own laptops. Of course linux isn't supported, so I thought I'd turn here for some help. The main problem is that firefox continually asks for my credentials when I'm on the intranet websites. Firefox has an option: network.automatic-ntml-auth.trusted-uris that I have set up. I also have kerberos set up, and I can get a ticket and that allows a few of the intranet sites to work without prompting for my password, however most still do. So my guess is much of the intranet doesn't support kerberos but some does. When I google for help most of what I can find is about getting samba to work, but samba actually works fine for me once I have my kerberos ticket. Also a lot of what I read about networking is frankly over my head, so I'm looking for perhaps a pointer in the right direction.

In short: How do I get firefox to automatically authenticate me on a windows based intranet, that seems to use NTLM to authenticate but not Kerberos*?

*Honestly not sure if that last part makes sense.
