Hi. New to arch and loving it. Learning a lot (necessarily!) Couldn't get grub to work but did get arch to work with syslinux. I am trying to get my pm-utils to work on my zareason laptop (microstar ms-1454). Based on the pm-utils wiki
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pm-utils
it looks like I would need to modify syslinux.cfg file, adding a line as described:
"In order for suspend2disk (hibernate) to work, we need to edit /boot/grub/grub.cfg as root and add resume=/path/to/swap/drive (e.g. /dev/sda2) to the kernel options."
But as I look at /boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg, I am not sure where I would put such a line. Am I thinking right, or am I headed in the wrong direction?
Thansk so much for guidance offered!

Maybe not what you are looking after but here goes anyway, I've been using uswsusp [1] from the AUR with success and there is no need to add the resume path to the kernel options, it is defined instead in a configuration file so that should work around your problem. The instructions on how to configure it are in the wiki [2].

I can't get darch-package-set (a uswsusp dependency).

It says:
Dependencies libgcrypt libx86 lzo2
Required by darch-package-set
To install uswsusp you only need to install the dependencies (libgcrypt libx86 lzo2).
The "Required by" line means you have to install uswsusp if you want to install darch-package-set.

You are correct of course. Still, an attempted instal with yaourt fails as follows:

Try refreshing the Pacman databases; they may just be a little out-of-sync.
