Can't compile phc module

Hi,

I just wanted to install PHC on my laptop, when the module build gave me this

:: Removing old phc-intel modules [DONE]
:: Compiling new phc-intel module [FAIL]
 > Look at /var/log/phc-intel.log to find out what went wrong

and in the log I find

Makefile:29: *** Kernel version not found, maybe you need to install appropriate k
ernel-headers or run make with KERNELSRC parameter, e.g.: make KERNELSRC=/usr/src/
linux. Stop.

Do I have to apply this manually while installing phc or what should I do? I find this problem when googleing, but never a solution.

Thanks!
André

Re: Can't compile phc module

Did you install linux-headers?

Re: Can't compile phc module

Yes, I saw this too, doublechecked and, of course, it was installed already.

Re: Can't compile phc module

Did you reboot after the latest kernel update?
I didn't have this problem when I installed phc-intel recently... (I'm running the LTS kernel at the moment, though.)

Edit: If running the LTS kernel, you have to install linux-lts-headers.

Re: Can't compile phc module

Mhh, I just tried it and it worked. I restarted in between, of course. So maybe that really solved the problem.

Thanks again!
