Monetary information in Turkish locale should be changed, currency format is wrong. I think I need to change LC_MONETARY variable in the locale files but I couldn't find anything like that under /usr/share/locale/tr/ folder.
It says YTL which was only used for one year (or maybe it was two, cannot remember), It should be TL.
How can I do this and then sent to upstream?

I think the file you are looking for is /usr/share/i18n/locales/tr_TR, contained in package glibc, lines 3480--3497. As for upstream, I guess a bug report at gnu.org?

Yes, removing the code of Y fixed it. Thanks. I will fill a bug report then, I just wasn't sure who takes care of locales.

My pleasure, kardeş. I want to fiddle with the greek locale as well at some point (I don't like the way characters are sorted), so you can say I did a preliminary search
